Charlie is the CEO and cofounder of Convex. He has over 10 years of experience in building data, energy analytics, and enterprise software. Holding degrees from MIT, Harvard, and Bowdoin, he has been featured by The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Marketplace, and the U.S. Department of Energy.
As Chief Product Officer and cofounder, Blake leads the Engineering, Data, Product, and Design teams at Convex. Blake focused the decade of his career prior to Convex working with industrial clients on software and data engagements, including with Goldman Sachs’ industrial software practice, and as a strategy consultant in Deloitte’s industrial analytics practice. Blake holds graduate degrees from Harvard and MIT, and an undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina.
As Chief Financial Officer, Siva Vadivelu leads Convex’s financial operations and strategy to ensure successful future growth. Over his impressive career, he has partnered with founders, C-suite, and boards of directors to scale VC- and PE-backed SaaS startups through hyper-growth and a path to profitability. He holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
As Chief Operating Officer, Sven ultimately is responsible for the day-to-day operations and people management at Convex. Prior to joining Convex, Sven had both client facing and operational roles at the Boston Consulting Group leading large teams and executing GTM transformation work for his clients and Siemens in their Energy Services business. Sven holds a graduate degree from MIT, and an undergraduate in economics from Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremberg.
As Chief Revenue Officer, Jim is responsible for the go-to-market execution and client success at Convex. His extensive leadership experience spans multiple companies within the B2B sales and marketing space, including Responsys, Red Aril, Fishbowl, and most recently Integrate. Jim holds a BSE from Princeton University and an MBA from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business.
Whitney has more than a decade of B2B marketing experience with particular expertise in GTM for enterprise SaaS. As Convex’s VP of Marketing, she’s responsible for the full suite of marketing activity, including brand awareness, demand generation, and product marketing. She’s previously led product marketing at AppDynamics and within GE’s industrial software business. Based in San Francisco, Whitney holds an undergraduate degree from Harvard and an MBA from Columbia.
Roger Muckenfuss Jr.
Roger has more than 20 years of experience building and leading post-sales account management and customer services at several B2B software companies in the Bay Area: Clearslide, Rentlytics, MarketLive and others. As VP of Customer Success, Roger leads the implementation, account management, support and customer operations teams. Based in Petaluma, CA, Roger holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Virginia and a Masters degree from Clemson University.
Alec has more than 15 years of leadership and technical experiences from WeWork, Juicero, Cisco and Microsoft. As VP of Engineering, Alec is responsible for running the engineering organization to build best-in-class enterprise SaaS products. Based in Belmont, California, Alec holds a PhD degree and an undergraduate degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
As VP of Product, Michael Chou leads the Product and Growth Teams at Convex. His extensive experience spans 20 years in industry-leading technology companies, including Salesforce, Okta, Adobe, Qualcomm, and Marvell. At Salesforce, Michael was the first Head of Product for Salesforce Field Service and led all B2B2C products for the Service Cloud business unit. He holds BS and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering from UCLA and an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley.
As VP of Design, Roger Wong leads both product design and marcom creative at Convex. Roger believes that design has the power to create customer loyalty and advocacy through holistic brand experiences. He has worked with over 30 companies in the Fortune 500, developing deep expertise with tech brands such as Apple, Microsoft, Cisco, and Intel. Roger’s design and advertising work has been recognized by Communication Arts, Graphis, One Show, Clio Awards, and Cannes Lions. He holds a BFA in graphic design from California College of the Arts. He lives in San Diego with his wife and teenage children. Roger does not surf.
As VP of Sales, Vicky is responsible for leading all aspects of revenue generation for Convex. She has extensive experience in leading high-performance teams, optimizing sales and operational excellence in high-growth global organizations as well as driving numerous successful acquisitions. Her career has focused on innovative technologies in optimization, big data and AI that intelligently solve the most business critical challenges facing customers today. Vicky is committed to leadership and mentorship with an emphasis of creating a culture for success.
As the VP of People, Savita brings data-driven efficiency and scalability to the People function at Convex. She comes to us most recently from 23andMe, where she was Director of People Technology and Operations. From her start as a software developer at a Mumbai ERP company, Savita has worked extensively with various software applications for the Finance and HR functions of Bay Area companies before focusing on the People Operations space.
Sal has more than 15+ years of recruiting experience working in global organizations like Accenture, Google, Apple, AppDynamics and WeWork. As the VP of Talent, he is responsible for building and scaling all functions of the organization. Originally from Melbourne, Australia Sal has been enjoying life in the Bay Area for the past 8 years and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from Columbia College.
As Head of Operations & Professional Services, Ronak drives efforts to help scale internal operations at Convex and manage strategic services engagements with our customers. Prior to joining Convex, Ronak focused on analytics and operational transformation in B2B environments at the Boston Consulting Group, Box and Apple. Ronak holds a graduate degree from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and an undergraduate degree in Statistics and Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
